The main purpose of the app is to streamline the setup and maintenance of building management systems, ensuring seamless integration and control.

One of the standout advantages of Building Commission is the noticeable reduction in commissioning time it offers. This efficiency is achieved as it does away with the need for an EcoStruxure BMS server to be physically present within the system. This means configuring the controllers can start as soon as they're powered up—a significant time-saver.

The app caters to users by providing simplified workflows. This tailored approach ensures that the precise tools required to complete specific tasks effectively are at your disposal. Furthermore, direct configuration and programming are made possible, enabling adjustments of settings, updating firmware, and uploading applications straight to the SpaceLogic IP Controllers without intermediaries.

For oversight and quality assurance, Building Commission includes features for report generation and status checks. Users will be empowered to produce and examine various reports, such as input & output, balancing, and diagnostic reports, while also monitoring the progress of commissioning activities.

Moreover, it aids in bypassing potential hindrances by eliminating dependencies on network infrastructure, which allows for smoother project execution.

To connect to SpaceLogic IP Controllers, two methods are offered: either through an IP Network by establishing a Wi-Fi access point or a direct network connection, or via Bluetooth. The latter can be done using the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter linked to a sensor or directly to an RP-C/RP-V controller with onboard Bluetooth features. These connectivity options afford the flexibility to choose the most convenient path for interaction with the device ecosystem, ensuring a responsive and adaptable commissioning experience.
